19×19 Bamboo Board (reversible), Uniconvex Yunzi Stones and Jujube Bowls

Description

This is a set containing the 19×19 reversible bamboo board, a full set of uniconvex yunzi stones and a pair of jujube bowls.

This goban is hand-crafted, with engraved lines, a shiny finish, and a pleasing sound when placing a stone. It’s durable for transport, and is perfect for those who either want a solid, affordable board for personal play, or for clubs who are trying to supply themselves without spending a fortune

• Reversible: this has the customary 19 by 19 marking on one side, and a 13 by 13 on the other for faster games or when you want to practice local play.

The grid lines are 25mm x 24mm apart. Side lengths are 472mm x 436mm, and 20mm thick.

These Yunzi stones are of high quality, and are easy to hold and place on the board, making a satisfying clack. They are smooth, so don’t damage the board, and slide well over each other in the bowl.

They are uniconvex in shape (flat on one side, curved on the other), and measure 21mm across, and are 6mm thick in the middle.

Note: there has been some concern about Yunzi stones being contaminated with lead. These have been personally tested by me, and have been found to not be contaminated.

A set of two jujube bowls. They stand 100mm tall, and are 140mm wide at the widest point. The lids are 125mm wide.
